Originally from Punjab, Rajan attended university in India where he went on to receive his Bachelor of Commerce. Not long after, Rajan owned and operated a thriving manufacturing business.
By 2002, Rajan decided to immigrate to Canada. His first job in his adopted country was as a door-to-door salesman, first with Bell Canada and then Telus. But it wasn’t long after that Rajan yearned to become an entrepreneur again.
Not only is Rajan known as a numbers guy, he excels at paperwork. In 2004, Saggi received his mortgage broker certification. Two decades later, he is a successful independent senior mortgage specialist, part of the award-winning TMG The Mortgage Group.
The skills he honed while knocking on doors have served him very well in his career as a mortgage broker, most notably building trust with customers and genuinely wanting to help them solve their problems.
Rajan thrives on constant change and being able to come up with solutions to make his clients’ lives easier. Clients have commented that Rajan is honest, upfront and is always available if they have concerns.

When not “living and breathing mortgage brokering”, Rajan enjoys long walks by the lake, tending to his garden and traveling with his wife, most recently to the east coast of Canada. When it comes to philanthropy, Rajan has set his sights on assisting those in dire need in his native Punjab, India. “There is so much need there so I support a few families through monthly monetary gifts. I know exactly where my money is going, and it is for a good cause.”
As a proud North Delta resident for more than 20 years, Rajan has great things to say about the community.
“Delta is a close knit community offering wide open spaces, less traffic and a place where neighbours know and care for each other,” says Rajan, adding he loves his community’s vibe and has lived in the same house since 2005.
It seems business and number crunching runs in the family. Both of Rajan’s grown sons studied business and both are employed in the investment banking sector.
