“When I started university, it was with the idea that I would become an accountant, but I took a different path,” explains Ha.
While completing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University, Ha began working for HSBC. She worked up the ranks to a manager position before leaving for RBC in 2019. Shortly after, Ha joined the ranks as an RBC mortgage specialist. It was while at RBC that Ha became interested in real estate, more specifically brokering.
“I wanted to offer more financing options for my clients than I could while I was at RBC,” says Ha. “In 2022, I decided to explore my options as a mortgage broker, because at the time I had two young children and I wanted more flexibility to spend more time with my family.”
All of Ha’s schooling and banking experience uniquely prepared her for a career as a mortgage broker. Today, Ha is excelling at Vita Lending due to her understanding that she needs to build client relationships based on trust. Whether it's a simple mortgage or a complex lending transaction, Ha is known for always being able to provide a solution for each and every client’s situation.
“I like to be able to provide solutions that make financial sense for individual clients. It’s like putting a puzzle together,” says Ha. “It brings me immense satisfaction to know I’ve helped someone, who might have been turned down at their bank with a fiscally sound way to buy a home of their dreams.”

Loving where you work.
Ha lives in the neighbourhood she works in, making her a wealth of information about what makes Greater Vancouver’s North Shore so desirable.
“There’s the natural beauty that the North Shore is renowned for,” says Ha, “like its natural landscapes, including mountains, ocean views, trails, and iconic landmarks such as Grouse and Cypress Mountains, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge.”
With a young family to look after, Ha’s volunteering consists of involving herself in her young daughters' school and extracurricular activities, such as ballet, swimming and gymnastics.
As a family, Ha says they love to go to the beach or hike the mountains close to their home.
“I also took up golf recently,” she adds.
