“While I was at SFU, I was researching real estate and realized there was a lot more to real estate mortgages,” says Singh. “What really caught my interest was how they blend finance and owning a home.”
At the same time, his brother was in the process of purchasing his first home, and it wasn't an easy road. It was then that Singh knew he wanted to become a broker – to help others like his brother attain their dream of home ownership.
“I've always wanted to make a difference in people's lives by guiding and informing them so they make the right decision when it comes to financing a home,” he explains. “Understanding each person’s unique needs and tailoring the perfect mortgage to fit their life is what drives my passion for real estate financing.”
In 2021, Singh earned his mortgage broker license and began his career. “The intricacies of different mortgage options, the influence of interest rates, the effects of economic changes and the evaluation of creditworthiness all come together to form an intriguing financial environment.”

Having lived in Vancouver his whole life, Singh is quick to point out its many amazing attributes.
“There aren’t many cities that can boast being a major urban centre; one that is home to top rated attractions like Stanley Park, the seawall, plus everything from cheap eats to Michelin-star restaurants and everything in-between,” he says.
When it’s time to switch off work, Singh and his friends head to different destinations, like Squamish, Whistler or elsewhere for a fun weekend getaway.
Singh is also an avid international traveler, having been to Australia, the UK, Thailand, Singapore and Eastern Canada. “I really enjoy visiting different places such as cities and countries. Getting to learn about different cultures, meet new people, and seeing beautiful places is something I look forward to every year,” he says, adding he also loves a good game of golf.
