“I was surrounded by the sights and sounds of the real estate industry from an early age,” says Saran. “Witnessing my dad meticulously craft homes and my brother skillfully match buyers with their perfect properties left an indelible mark on me. My father's passion for construction and my brother's knack for sales shaped my understanding of the business.”
Being born into an entrepreneurial family definitely has its advantages. Saran admits it was a huge asset; one that provided him with the necessary tools to venture into the brokerage sector. He quips that since the developer and realtor roles were taken in his family, that left him with the finance sector.
“I started my career as an insurance agent, which was a really good fit for my personality,” says Saran.
Although Saran enjoyed his career path, it wasn’t long though before his close knit family suggested he consider brokering.

Becoming a broker.
In 2018, Saran earned his broker’s license from UBC’s Sauder School of Business. That same year, he took a job with Clear Trust Mortgages as a mortgage specialist. Since then, Saran has firmly established himself as a trusted and respected mortgage broker. Saran is known for his dedication to exceed clients’ expectations, both in BC and Alberta, and as someone who will work hard to guide them through the intricate world of mortgages.
When asked what he loves most, Saran says it is advocating on behalf of family members, friends and clients.
“It’s a really good feeling to help others achieve their goals of home ownership,” he adds. “I’d describe myself as very tenacious when it comes to my clients and I treat them all like family.”
Out of office.
When not working hard on behalf of his clients, Saran laces up his runners and heads to the gym, or he goes to his local pool for a swim.
“My wife and I love to entertain family and friends, as well as travel. Last year we went to Italy and Greece,” says Saran. “We live in Delta, so we also enjoy hikes and bike rides.”
In BC, Saran works for clients across Greater Vancouver. His focus right now, though, is in the Okanagan and Edmonton, Alberta.
“I was born in Alberta, so I have strong ties there. Edmonton is a very friendly, tight knit city,” says Saran. “In addition, my family is very involved in construction in Kelowna.”
As one of Canada’s fastest growing cities, Kelowna has rightly earned a reputation as an outdoor enthusiast’s mecca.
“In Kelowna, you have the best boating, golfing and snowboarding, all activities that at certain times of the year you can do all in the same day,” says Saran.
