Beginning Jan. 25th, Westbank and QuadReal Property Group’s highly popular Oakridge Park Lunar New Year Celebration returned to the Fairmont Pacific Rim with more fun community events and special incentives, including an innovative mortgage solution exclusively for Oakridge Park homebuyers, created in collaboration with True North Mortgage.

During the 2024 Lunar New Year Celebration ONLY, Oakridge Park is offering a special mortgage program, available for only 75 homes. True North Mortgage is offering an exclusive mortgage program available only at Oakridge Park. The program includes a preferred 3.88 percent fixed rate mortgage with a three-year term. “I don’t think there is another development across the country that is featuring a dedicated mortgage program with this level of ease and low interest rate,” says Michael Braun, Director of Marketing and Sales, Westbank, adding that the program will allow purchasers to finance up to 65 percent of the purchase price. “True North is offering hassle-free mortgages for prospective buyers, these mortgages don’t require an appraisal, and feature a low interest rate which makes buying a home at Oakridge Park more accessible.”

For Oakridge Park’s Year of the Dragon celebrations, Fairmont Pacific Rim will come alive with cultural events, with a custom Dim Sum Menu in collaboration with Mott 32 exclusively at The Lobby Lounge. Widely considered the most important festival in the lunar calendar, 2024’s festivities include special live musical performances, complimentary Lunar New Year’s family portraits, and unique décor. There are also lots of activities for kids, including lantern-making workshops, dragon-themed crafts and a Kids Ballet Class with the award-winning Goh Ballet.

That’s not all, everyone who takes part in the Lunar New Year Festival at Fairmont Pacific Rim has a chance to win an exclusive Cherry Blossom Experience Trip to Tokyo.

“Vancouver is effectively creating another downtown and a cultural hub for the city at Oakridge Park,” says Braun. “There will be a larger shopping mall, over 3,000 homes, around 100 different restaurants, a 9-acre forested park, cultural programming and events, and so much more. The 2024 Lunar New Year will give guests a glimpse of the inspiration behind the many cultural experiences we have planned at Oakridge Park.”

A cultural hub for Vancouver and the city’s designated new town centre, Oakridge Park reimagines one of North America’s top-performing shopping centres into a new 30-acre neighbourhood anchored by a 9-acre park and urban forest. When complete, Oakridge Park will comprise more than 3,000 homes across the housing continuum, over one million square feet of retail and workspace, a new community centre and library, a flagship Goh Ballet Academy, indoor and outdoor performance and recreation spaces, as well as a multitude of culinary experiences including Time Out Market’s first Vancouver location. The entire project was made up of collaborations with the world’s leading architects, designers and artists, including Tokyo’s esteemed Azuma Makoto, whose floral exhibitions and botanical sculptures inspired the lobby and interiors of Oakridge x Westbank.
