This was our 15 move and Derek and his team were the most professional, detailed and competent we have ever experienced. He has an assistant, Brett Abbey, who could not do enough for us. She was even responding to my questions at 7:30 PM. I give this team five stars.

Derek sold my Calgary home for me in early June 2024. Derek has great energy and took some of the listing stress away, working with my schedule to facilitate showings and an open house. I greatly appreciated Derek's unique approach to marketing, leveraging social media. I believe this directly contributed to the number of showings we had very quickly on my listing. Derek's negotiations achieved more than I expected possible on the sale price. There are 2 items that I felt unsettled about. 1. During the offer stage, Derek informed me of competing offers, but then seemed to have a preference for one. At that time, I did not receive any further details on the other offer(s) and felt more like it was this one or nothing. 2. During closing, again I felt that Derek was more concerned about this particular buyer than with my interests as the seller. Last minute adjustments needed to be made and documents were sent to me for signing before a thorough discussion on the details to allow me to sign fully informed. I would still recommend Derek and work with him again should I need a realtor, but perhaps slowing down the enthusiasm and positive spin during the more serious discussions would've alleviated the pressure I felt. Edited to add: The morning after posting my review, I received a message from Derek stating it was unfair, which was then followed up by his opinion of the lawyer I worked with as well.

Great communication and gave great advice. Was available anytime we needed him! He successfully sold our home in a short amount of time. Choose Derek!

Derek is such an awesome realtor. He, along with his team made the whole process go so smoothly. From providing advice on how to stage the home, recommending an awesome cleaner, getting great photos to getting our house sold instantly! He was real, and honest every step of the way which I find is tough to come across these days. My experience with Derek was really bad and I will never recommend his name to anyone in my friend’s circle. He was amazing till I listed my property.He was not reachable lack of collaboration, initiative and communication. Whenever I try to reach him he was always busy with other things. He always try to convince people by saying that I am ex police officer. I will only suggest him to keep his promises.
