The Awards recognized outstanding agents in three categories from across BC and beyond.
- The Homeseeker Advocate Award was awarded to the agents who have helped the most buyers on Connect in the past year, showing the agents’ dedication to clients and meeting their needs.
- The Listing Exposure Expert was awarded to the agents with the highest number of listing views in their region over the last year, recognizing their ability to attract and engage Homeseekers.
- The Agent Visibility Expert was awarded to the agents with the most impressions site-wide in their region over the last year, highlighting their exceptional personal branding and marketing efforts.

Plus, there were the Spotlight Award winners, who received trophies on stage at the event.
The Future Icon in Real Estate was awarded to Jovita Pinto, Personal Real Estate Corporation at eXp Realty, an emerging agent who has demonstrated exceptional growth and impact within her first five years in the industry. She attributes her success to being raised by hardworking immigrant parents who instilled the value of perseverance and dedication. She stands out as a rising leader, showcasing the potential to become a future icon in real estate, living out the commitment to her belief that, “luxury is a level of service, not a price point.”
“Working with REW has been a true accelerator for my business,” said Pinto. “It creates momentum, and constantly has pushed me to do bigger and better things.”

The Legend of Real Estate was awarded to Kevin Skipworth, an agent at Dexter Realty with over 20 years of experience who has built a lasting reputation in the industry. He is a community advocate, a mentor to his peers and a trusted leader who continues to inspire others and elevate the profession, making him a household name in Greater Vancouver real estate. He’s also a critical component of The Guide on REW.ca, with his Monthly Market Insights Report being read by Homeseekers and agents alike.
“It’s truly an honour to be recognized by REW,” said Skipworth. “They’ve truly shown that they take home selling seriously – way back from being in print to now into digital.” Skipworth also added a shoutout to his business partner Cathie Cline, with whom he has been working since 2006.

The Brokerage of the Year was awarded to Oakwyn Realty, the brokerage with the most visible and highest number of agents enrolled in the REW One Membership program, reflecting a strong commitment to Homeseekers by offering them the tools to buy and sell their homes, plus a dedication to their own agents’ innovation and professional growth. Oakwyn Realty lives their values every day, following their motto of “work hard and stay humble.”
“Thank you again REW for continuing to build programs and tools to help agents connect with people and better engage with their communities,” said Shawn Kambo, a member of Oakwyn Realty’s Managing Broker Team, after receiving the Brokerage of the Year Award on behalf of Oakwyn Realty.

The Developer of the Year was awarded to Zenterra Developments, a developer that builds livable, community-oriented homes that go beyond being places to live and truly exemplify being integral to their neighbourhoods. Zenterra has shown itself to be popular among Homeseekers and agents alike on REW.ca as an outstanding performer in the New Homes space.
“It really highlighted the [efforts of the] REW staff,” said Derek Fenton, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Zenterra Developments after receiving the Developer of the Year Award. “They’re always constantly looking for innovation. They’re constantly looking to push the envelope. They’re always looking for new ideas that we can use.”

The Awards ceremony swapped the endless clapping of other events for a relaxed atmosphere, connections and fun throughout the night. Emceed by President of REW Kent MacDonald and sponsored by FortisBC, the evening brought together extraordinary agents and community partners in BC.
