Future Icon in Real Estate Award winner Jovita Pinto, Personal Real Estate Corporation at eXp Realty, has been working in real estate for less than five years, but she has known the value of hard work far longer than that. Born in Pakistan, she came to Canada early in her life with her parents. Both of them worked multiple jobs to build a better life, and she learned what it means to dedicate yourself to both family and career.

“A big part of my life is work and I do really, really enjoy it. But I do genuinely really love to spend time with my family and it's really important to me,” she says. “So my puppy and my husband, I now make time and I carve out my schedule to make sure that I prioritize that.”

Still, Jovita devotes plenty of time to her career and clients. She treats real estate like the business it is, with a structured approach to scheduling and work. Crediting this with her success so far, she remembers working evenings and holidays to ensure everything gets done.

“There's a quote that I genuinely love: ‘it's if it's your job to eat a frog, the best thing to do is eat it first thing in the morning. And if it's your job to eat two frogs, the best thing to do is eat the biggest one first,’” she says. “Look, I still have moments where I want to procrastinate and then I read this quote and it fires me up.”

Jovita also credits REW for much of her success. She states, “working with REW has been a big part of my growth. It's pushed me to be more intentional, more strategic and to think bigger about how I scaled my business.”

If she had to give advice to fellow upcoming agents, Jovita says, “don't walk into your office and make a list of things to do. That should be done the night before. If you leave it to the morning, you're already behind.” She says that planning, hard work and dedication to clients and your business goes a long way in building a successful career.

As for being an Award winner, Jovita says that, “this Award reflects the work, the consistency, and the intention I've put into my brand and building my business. The Future Icon of Real Estate isn't just about what I've done. It's about what I'm building towards.”

And she hasn’t forgotten how she got here, either. “REW has been a huge part of my growth, and I'm especially grateful to my clients for trusting me with such big decisions,” Jovita says. “That's something I never take for granted.”
