DESIGN | With every new community, we work closely with our architecture firm to determine the best designs possible for the area. We could just copy designs from past sites, but that’s not us. We ensure designs fit the community and you. By using a mix of materials, such as brick, stone, and maintenance free cladding, we are able to create wonderful designs that stand the test of time. Floor plans are scrutinized and reviewed until we are happy with the layout. Open concepts, whenever possible, and 9’ main floor ceilings are always a must and if you are looking for something a little more custom, we’re always open to changes. | A GOOD FOUNDATION IS KEY | We decided long ago that control from the ground up is crucial for a quality built and long lasting home, that’s why we excavate and prepare all or our own foundations. By doing so, this ensures proper home placement on your lot, and a level footing for foundation walls to be constructed. | SILENCE IS BLISS | Since our foundations are strong and sound, we carry on that level of quality throughout the home starting from the framing by utilizing an engineered flooring system which produces a stronger floor with less flex while allowing for grater spans. By using this system, we dramatically reduce any squeaks that can plague homes built using older traditional methods. | On top of this, we install a 3/4” thick engineered sub-floor which providers far greater stability and helps to minimize ceramics from cracking and further reduces the chance of any squeaks or creaks. Rest assured, in our homes, those sneaky midnight snacks will go unnoticed. | COMFORTABLE HOME | A comfortable home makes for a happy home; and today, efficiency makes for a happy homeowner. Included in your home is a high-efficiency HVAC system that keeps the inside of your home comfortable year round. Low E, argon filled vinyl casement windows keep the inclement weather out. And since we build our homes air tight for efficiency, we also include an HRV (Heat Recovery Ventilation) System, which brings filtered fresh air in, and exhausts stale air out. These systems work together to make your home’s air quality perfect for those lazy Sundays when a good book and a comfy sofa take priority. | IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS | We look at our builds like they are our own. Modern material and finishes are prominent throughout our homes. Satin nickel hardware, decora light switches & receptacles, colonial baseboard and trim-work are all standard with Dreamland. From holiday plugs that make it easy to decorate the exterior of your home during the holidays, to dishwasher connections roughed in and ready, we strive to anticipate your needs and ensure you are well equipped from the moment we hand you the keys.
