Buying my first home, I had some apprehensions. I had many questions that I was worried I wouldn't get the right answers for working with a realtor. Dan came highly recommended by a family member, and I'm glad I chose to use his team's services. He was very helpful in helping us find not only a new property that was within our budget but met all the things we were looking for in a new home. His team also worked closely with my mortgage broker and lawyer, making the process very easy for my partner and me. I have worked with many real estate agents over the years and it is very clear that Dan is driven by helping people, and not focused on money or short term gains. Dan is a gem of a realtor who walks a number of delicate lines with almost miraculous finesse: he's a shrewd and savvy businessman, yet entirely trustworthy, and not the least bit smarmy; he's friendly, open, and approachable, yet uncompromisingly professional; he pursues his clients -- and potential deals -- with dogged persistence, yet is never the least bit pushy, always respecting your boundaries and decision autonomy. We were first-time buyers, and had a tonne of questions about almost everything. Dan patiently, thoroughly, and knowledgeably answered every single one (right down to a random piece of trivia about the technological history of pneumatic elevators -- it came up in passing during one viewing, and when we saw him the next day, he had looked up the answer...!). His response time on emails, and availability for last-minute viewings, was astounding. When it came time to actually make an offer and navigate closing the deal, his guidance was invaluable. We've since recommended him to friends who are thinking about buying, and will no doubt continue to do so for many years!

Dan is a great realtor. I was a first time buyer and I started my search with another realtor. However I had to quickly look for another realtor due to unreasonable demands the first realtor had for me such as signing a legal contract to have him as my exclusive agent. Fortunately, I was lucky the second time and I got the opportunity to work with Dan. Dan was very organized, professional and always ready to help. He patiently answered all my questions. When I presented him with a question, he ensured to honestly share his opinion. I really liked the fact that during this process, Dan was a facilitator in a true sense. We had the pleasure to get help of Dan Wurtele when we did our first home purchase here in Vancouver. We were looking at some places for a while and always felt a little bit bothered or overwhelmed in a bad way of how the agents almost hunt you and push you to buy buy buy . One day we just walked by a open house and it so happen to be that it was Dan who was showing it and right away we understood that this guy is great ! So we asked him to help us in the search for our first home and he went over and beyond , he was helping us from day one with everything from big things to small things , and always with a smile and quick replies on questions that we had . Since we both are fairly new in Vancouver and Canada , it was a lot of things to learn , and Dan was super easy about it and made the whole process fun and easy . Now living here for about a year we know he did a good job , no unpleasant surprises on the way , he did his due diligence perfectly. Dan is a fantastic realtor. He was always present with us, and always a call or text away for any questions, which would be answered promptly. His knowledge of the market, trends and stats are some of the best I’ve seen, and he always provides many options and scenarios to meet your needs / budgets. It’s always a pleasure working with Dan. He has always been very attentive and patient when helping us look for homes. Dan went above and beyond to make what can be a stressful experience into a joyful one. Right from our first meeting he was professional and explained everything in great detail. He responded very quickly to my many emails and phone calls and listened to my many worries. He was upfront with every detail of what all my costs and expenses would be, right down to lawyers fees and closing costs so there were no surprise expenses which I greatly appreciated. The marketing of my condo was beyond fantastic. My condo went on sale on a Monday and by the Friday he presented me with three fantastic offers. By Friday night it was sold!! The following day he arranged for me to view 5 open houses which he also attended. He clearly listened to my wish list as he found the condo we were looking for and he had secured our deal by later that evening. I would recommend Dan to all my friends and family and will continue to work with him in the future.

Dan is AMAZING. Full stop. I had worked with a previous realtor several years ago when my partner and I were first time home buyers and purchased a condo.
