I had a great relationship with Ron Parpara and his team, when selling my Vancouver Fairview area condo in Sept. 2022. My home sold in just a week for above asking even in this slow market with high interest rates. Before listing, I had interviewed 4 realtors from popular firms, two of them came recommended by friends and two of them I googled which is where I short-listed Ron Parpara solely by the high reviews he had. Although all the realtors I interviewed were very pleasant to deal with, two of them wanted me to severely under list. In the end I selected Ron, based on my gut feeling about our compatibility, his personality, and his knowledge and experience in the field. I was not mistaken and the outcome was more than what I expected, but secretly what I had hoped for. In the days leading up to the listing and all throughout, the communication was constant, the staged photos turned out great and Rochele, one of the administrators was wonderful to deal with. Ron even had private showings the week before listing and 16 showing in the first 5 days of listing. There was no need for an open house as I accepted an offer on day 5. I am a very happy home-seller and I will surely use this company again. I have already recommended them to my neighbours and some friends. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a realtor to go ahead and at least interview Ron when selling or buying a home.

Ron and his Team did the impossible..they sold my condo in the worst building in dt Vancouver (main/hastings area), dealt with a complicated tenant and in the middle of covid lockdown….and within a couple of weeks…great teamwork, great communication, and most importantly a knowledge of how to sell in the toughest area of Vancouver! I had a really great experience working with this team. They secured a house virtually for their client and we furnished it. I have to say that this service doesn’t exist in Vancouver yet because most realtors are more focused on working with buyers and sellers. Their process of getting the house ready for move-in was exceptional. From cleaning, repainting, furnishing, and even testing out the furniture pieces their clients selected from us was executed well. They go above and beyond and it shows.

Ron and his team helped us selling our property as well as buying our current one and I can’t praise them enough. They are professional, knowledgable and friendly. Every time we had a question or concern, they came through and helped us with a solid answer or a solution for us, making this process - which is already quite stressful - easy and manageable. First for the selling part. The staging was done with such attention to detail that we were surprised by it and the pictures turned out stunningly beautiful. It looked as nice as the day we bought it. The showings went smoothly and without any issues and they always kept us informed about them. Same goes for the day offers were presented, they were responsive when we had a question and they helped us keeping our feet on the ground during the whole time, making it go by without a hitch and setting the record for the building. For the buying side, things were a bit more complicated as we had to have an absolute perfect timeline as the different due dates were quite tight together. We were considering a different option to hire as our realtor as they had an interesting proposal. After talking with Ron and his team they really helped us figuring out the best strategy and the timing worked exactly as we needed. Aside from our concerns with timing, they helped us with all the documents, making sure that the property we were getting was in good shape and things were in order and even ended up with a better financial outcome than the option we were considering. They knew exactly what to ask, where to look for and their experience really shone in this area. We worked with Ron and his team (Jordan, Angela, Masha) for about 7 month to buy our first home in Vancouver. We spoke with several realtors before deciding to go with Ron because he immediate gave us references to call and both of his previous clients gave such good reviews that it was a pretty easy decision for us. Our first few interactions with Ron gave us the impression that he was reliable and was someone who had a calm presence, and we knew this was someone we would get along well with. Over time, he proved that he was indeed reliable and calm under pressure. He always kept us informed, sent documents ahead of time before viewings, and let us know if someone else on his team had to meet us if he couldn't make it. In the intense and stressful times before and during offers, he gave us the information we needed to make decisions, and never pushed us or rushed us. Ron is a good communicator, which means he's great at listening, and always made time to talk to us before big decisions. He's also great at asking questions during a viewing about things that we, as first time home-buyers, didn't know to ask. We learned a lot, which ultimately helped us successfully buy our lovely home in East Van. He doesn't work on Saturdays, and he was clear about that from the beginning. We respect that this is his time off and we've never felt like it was a issue working together. His team works smoothly together and we always had either Ron or Jordan at each viewing. We sold our Kitsilano apartment with Ron, Jordan and Angela in late February/early March 2022. The top-line summary is that we were extremely happy with our experience with Ron and his team, and we would strongly recommend them to anyone who asks. We found Ron and his team online, where they stood out because of their deservedly stellar reviews. We found Ron to be very calm, professional and knowledgable about the market. We also really appreciated that he was very honest and blunt with us in terms of what to expect in terms of the work relationship, sale price, etc. We always felt comfortable trusting his word on real estate matters. One thing that stood out was that Ron gave us the contact information from previous clients who had agreed to serve as references. Even though these were highly selected happy customers, we found it was helpful to be able to ask specific questions of real people. This allowed us to get a better sense of what he was really about, and helped us feel comfortable about picking him out of a crowd of agents with similar-sounding online reviews. Once we signed with them, Ron, Jordan and Angela were professional, efficient and epitomized great customer service. They brought in a designer to tour the place and make staging recommendations. They covered the costs of a "light staging" of the apartment. They helped identify things that should be fixed up in order to maximize the value of the unit, and gave us recommendations for a trustworthy handyman. Everything went very smoothly. When the apartment listing went up, it quickly became clear that the team's sale and marketing strategy was working. There was a lot of interest. All we had to do was give them the keys and get out of the way. All of Ron, Jordan and Angela's work eventually culminated in a multiple-offer situation. We were, of course, really thrilled about this. Ron's experience and connections really came in handy here, as he was able to help us dodge potential predatory/bad-faith offers and identify the best option. In the end, we were ecstatic with the outcome. We ended up getting a better price than we thought was possible. The sale contract was signed a week after the unit was listed, and the whole process from starting with Ron and team took less than 2 months. The whole time, working with Ron, Jordan and Angela was smooth, efficient and pleasant. We honestly probably don't even realize how much behind-the-scenes work they did to make the process as easy as it was. These three were fantastic, and frankly we couldn't have asked for better!

Ron is the most down to earth, responsive and thorough real estate professional that we have worked with. We had two weeks to find a place to live in Vancouver. As we are American, he quickly helped us understand that it would be best for us to find a co-op. He introduced us to one of his family members who lives in a co-op so that we could better understand what it would be like. He then, not only identified the handful that were currently available, he provided us with 10 years of sales history, so we could compare what was currently available with what could ever possibly be available. Once we found a place that we liked, he worked closely with the other agent so we could understand what the co-op was and wasn’t looking for--and if we could meet their criteria. He helped us identify lawyers, contractors, insurance agents, and an inspector, so that we could complete the transaction. He helped us negotiate an excellent price, below asking!
