Second-busiest March ever sets a record benchmark price, but that hides wild variations by city

There were 2,020 Fraser Valley homes were sold in March, which was an annual decline of 24 per cent but 61.7 per cent higher than February’s figures, according to board figures released April 4.

However, the annual slowdown didn’t stop it being the second-busiest March on record, and a new record benchmark price was set.

The three different housing types saw very different sales trends, and prices diverged dramatically across cities and municipalities, as our infographic below reveals.
