As a first time home buyer, I cannot say enough good things about Jen Murphy. She is a hard working real estate agent and made my experience of buying a home for the first time enjoyable as well as successful. One of the things I liked most about Jen as an agent is that she took me and my needs seriously from the moment we first spoke. I appreciated her professionalism, as well as her friendliness and candour, and it was this first impression that encouraged me to choose Jen as my agent. She never dismissed me as being a "small fish" due to my budget or my inexperience, and I could tell that she treated me with the same care as any other client. Jen is also a great listener. After each showing, Jen asked me for what I thought. She would ask clear questions to refine both her and my own vision of what I was looking for. She heard all of my needs, and worked hard to find listings that fit all the many requirements I had. Not once did Jen try and talk me into a higher budget, or convince me to "settle" for anything less than perfect. As my requirements changed, Jen was flexible and adaptable, always listening to my feedback and adjusting as we went along. Finally, Jen is incredibly patient and knowledgable. As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions, and Jen was always happy to explain procedures or jargon so that I understood and could make an informed choice. On (rare) occasions, where I asked her a question and she didn't know the answer, Jen always came back with a "I don't know, let me find out". I appreciated her honesty, and knew that she was always coming to me with accurate information. Jen also has a great list of contacts she has built (eg: inspectors, notaries, and mortgage brokers) that she was always happy to refer me to if I needed. I did end up using a few of these contacts, and was thrilled to find that they are just as professional, thorough and friendly as Jen. Ultimately, Jen is an excellent agent due to the professionalism, effort and care she gives to each of her clients. Had a great experience selling our condo with Jen and Adam. They were professional and full of good suggestions. We were very impressed with the marketing video and photos.
