Growing up on the North Shore has given Haneef a lifetime's insight into Vancouver's growth especially since Expo in 1986 which put the West Coast city firmly on the world's radar. Having first-hand experience of how the city has adapted to a growing population gives him an advantage when it comes to real estate negotiations and advising his clients.

He manages his time at Virani's North Shore office - which happens to be the highest commercial premises in Metro Vancouver with commanding views of the city - ensuring all their North and West Vancouver clients have easy accessibility to him.

Away from real estate, Haneef believes in giving back to the city which he has called home since 1976. He is very much involved with many of Vancouver's charities and in particular he was instrumental in establishing Virani's sponsorship of the Special Olympics BC North Shore Walkathon which is held each year at Ambleside Park, as well as active involvement in donating to BC Children's Hospital - with whom he has a special interest as both his sons were born there.

A family man at heart, Haneef brings his natural enthusiasm to the many sports that his sons are involved with including tennis, basketball and - with the whole family being avid English Football supporters - soccer. Add to the mix, a love of travel and automobiles, and any spare time that Haneef may have, is certainly put to good use.
