Cheryl exemplified professionalism in a time when we, as both sellers and buyers, were in the midst of the Bank of Canada rate increases. Not only did she help alleviate much of the stress of these (unforeseen) changes to the market, but she was also patient and allowed us the freedom and control to navigate the correct course of action during these uncertain times. With Cheryl’s professional guidance, work ethic, and intimate understanding of our neighbourhood and building, we were able to sell our condo and purchase our house with coinciding closing dates all while being approachable and easy to speak with. After meeting with a few realtors my wife and I chose to work with Cheryl because she seemed professional, experienced, and familiar with the area we were looking to purchase in. We wanted to buy before we sold so we knew there would be a fast turn around once we bought. We also knew that it could potentially take a long time to find the perfect property so we needed a realtor who would be patient with us and not pressure us into buying a place that wasn’t right for us. Cheryl was extremely hard working and accommodating by being available via text or email at all times and answering any questions we had. She made the effort to come view potential properties with us during the open houses, or if she couldn’t make it during that time she would go and view the property herself later on if we were interested. An extra perk that comes with working with Cheryl is that she has a lot of connections that streamline the entire process. We probably would not have been able to get everything we needed to get done without her to help organize and take care of everything for us. We ended up using her recommended home inspector, mortgage broker, lawyer, painter, designer, photographer, and floor planner, and all were amazing. We ended up buying a place, then quickly turning around and selling our place within a week. We also got significantly more for our place than anticipated.
