We rarely bother to leave reviews unless I receive a really good or really bad service. We feel we must leave a review for Ruqayya.
Ruqayya was recommended by a friend who had dealt with her in the past and we are so glad we found her. Initially, we thought we didn’t need a realtor, but we soon realized that you are treated much better when you go to an open house with a realtor, as we were not treated as ‘tire kickers. ‘ Before working with Ruqayya.. half the time we were arguing in the car after each property we saw.. she turned out to be the voice of reason, helping us balance our wants and needs and thoughtful suggestions about seeing the potential of a property. It was hard losing out on properties we wanted but we never felt pressured to raise our offers beyond our budget. There is not a lot of negotiating on price these days but things that can be negotiated.. she worked hard for us. She was well-liked by the seller’s realtor, was very professional, and was prompt in communication.
Ruqayya was also very resourceful in other ways and ended up being our single point of contact for everything.. from connecting us to an excellent mortgage broker to cleaners and movers… and the cake lady for our house warming.. :)
Obviously, Ruqayya provided us with excellent service.. and we have no complaints.. I don’t think we’ll be selling anytime soon but when we do that.. she’ll be the person we’ll call.
