I worked with Jen on my first purchase and she was amazing. She listened to my wants and worked to get them in a place. She negotiated great for me and I was able to get a place I wanted in a price I could afford. Jen is super easy to talk to and an amazing agent to work with.

While we wholly acknowledge that we were trying to sell our home in a very tough market, how Bryon treated us as clients was absolutely unacceptable. He promised weekly call updates, and they essentially stopped after the first 3 months. He didn't treat us with respect or dignity. When we voiced our concerns to him, he completed brushed it off and that's when he ghosted us almost completely, having his wife sporadically answer questions asked of him. To say his communication skills are lacking would be an understatement. 6 months on the market and no sale. We hired a new agent and were sold in less than 2 weeks!!

Bryon's team helped us make our dream house a reality. We were under a tight timeline to sell our home and they made it happen. Purchasing a new home can be really stressful, but the Howard team supported us every step along the way. They were easy to reach when we needed them and encouraged us not to commit to a house until it checked all of the boxes. I had been in my home for a long time, and had a lot of questions and concerns about selling it, in a somewhat slow Market. Bryon took the time to address these questions and assured me that I could spend a lot of time doing updates to my property prior to selling, and in the end not get a better price. With his help, I choose to list my home just after Christmas when there were few comparable homes Actively for sale. Despite my home not being in complete "Show Room Condition", Bryon and his team were able to generate multiple offers and sell it over list price! The process was very smooth and efficient. Bryon and Shirley make an excellent team in negotiating the ups and downs of buying a house in Calgary! They surpassed my expectations of service and got me exactly what I wanted in a hot real estate market.

Recently we decided to move to Vancouver. Having met Shirley and Bryon at a family party ... we invited Bryon to show us what he does to sell condos. He met with us at our Spruce Cliff Condo on Hemlock Crescent and laid out 'reality' on what the Calgary Condo Market was doing. While not pretty, we decided to list at a price that we thought would attract a buyer. We got few showings in the first 30 days and eventually received an offer. While not our list price, it was close enough for us to agree. Working with Bryon's administrative assistant Lisa, and the rest of the team went really well! I first met Bryon at the pool during a routine swim workout, where we were both in training for our respective events: myself, Ironman Canada and Bryon, the World Championships Long Course Triathlon in Penticton. Bonding over our love of the sport, we also exchanged professional contacts, as Bryon learned that I was in the market searching for my first home. At the time, I was already previously working with a real estate agent, but felt very hesitant with him and his team. They weren't answering my questions in a timely manner, were very hard to contact and I didn't really feel that they were working for me. After being pre-approved for a mortgage through my bank, I decided that this real estate team was not working for me and although, Bryon had supported me in my original decision to stick with this team at the time of our visit at the pool, I felt that Bryon's humbleness and having a mutual love of triathlon more suited my personality and approach to making decisions. After cutting ties with my first real estate agent, I did not hesitate to contact Bryon that day and he set me up with his wife Shirley that very same day for a first time home buyers meeting. During this meeting, Shirley put me directly at ease with all of my questions and her explanation of the purchasing process allowed me to understand exactly what I was getting into. It also helped that at the time, Shirley had a fractured ankle and as a physiotherapist, I felt we were quickly able to bond and feel comfortable helping one another out. Shirley was fantastic and I really, truly appreciate her gentle nature and thorough knowledge of the housing market. When it came time to look at homes, Bryon and Shirley were on holidays, so I was set up with Shawn who is also a part of their team and he proceeded to take me to as many viewings as I wanted, as well as, quickly sort through the homes that I had selected and ensure that I was only viewing homes that were worthy of my investment. Shawn's knowledge of these homes, neighborhoods and willingness to allow me to view the home as many times as I wanted before I was comfortable making a decision made my buying process a lot easier. His negotiation skills were phenomenal and in the end, after I had reached an agreement with the seller, Shawn was still able to get me a further $3000 discount on the property. Bryon is a great realtor. My partner and I had originally listed the property on Kijiji and Bryon came to us with a comparative price analysis of the area and we listed the property for $50k more. Amazingly we sold the property within 2 weeks and got the asking price. The only hiccup was we spent money on changing out the flooring, but in the end it really didn't matter.

Recently my real estate investor partner and I were trying to sell our Calgary Inner City rental home as a For Sale by Owner. Bryon contacted me ... and presented the Calgary Real Estate Stats and showed us comparable listings that were Active, Pending, Sold and Expired. He laid out his marketing plan, described his network, and made a convincing argument that he could sell our property and net us more money in our pocket then we could selling it on our own. He did exactly that! We were able to generate multiple offers, and got a non-conditional full price offer - $50,000 more than what we were asking on our For Sale by Owner listing! Up until that time we were getting few offers mostly up to $20,000 less than our asking price. He is obviously is in tune with the market ... and has a large network of colleagues who he works with. Next time I want to sell my home for more than I think it is worth ... I'll call Bryon! :-)

Bryon has assisted in selling two of our homes in the past 5 years … in two different kind of markets. He manages to be the calm one and gets us through the swings of the market and guides us to the smart decisions. We recently sold our home turned investment property in Taradale.
