Ben Sweet called me after I was referred by a good friend, he set me up with one of his Realtors, Kris Paul. I can't speak highly enough about my experience. It was my first home purchase, and he bent over backwards for us. Viewing 3-4 properties a night, teaching us what to look for, complete honesty and integrity. I can’t say enough about Paul, Ben, and the team! Paul listened very closely to what we were looking for in a home, helped us realize what was most important to us, and offered strategies to be competitive as a buyer in a decidedly seller’s market. He was very quick to respond to any questions or viewing requests and would reach out with properties that were a particularly good match or offered a unique opportunity. He also put together many breakdowns of comparables and helped us interpret them in the context of the trend in the neighbourhood which allowed us to make well-informed offers when dealing with the prevalent “competitive pricing” strategy. Some of the highlights included our first week working with Paul when properties were coming up for the weekend. Just as my wife and I were finishing up looking through the 15 properties automatically sent from the search he had set up, he emailed us with a further curated list of the exact 3 we were hoping to view. An even better example of our experience is the home we purchased. None of my wife, myself, or anyone else helping us keep an eye on listings even saw this property except for Paul. It was in a neighbourhood we thought we couldn’t afford and very different from a lot of what we had previously viewed. However, it ended up being an excellent fit for us, and he helped us negotiate a fair deal within our budget given its time on the market. The rest of the team has also been very supportive and efficient in making sure the proper paperwork gets to the right people, and that we understand each step in the buying process. We’re not expecting to move again for quite some time, but if circumstances were to change, we would absolutely choose Paul, Ben, and the team again!

I had reached out to Ben a few years ago after reading such great reviews about him and while we did not end up buying or selling then, he left such an impression that when we went to list our investment property this spring, he was the first call I made. Ben was very patient with my questions and took the time to provide plenty of information and advice as to pricing, timing, what we could expect and why, etc. He mentioned that he had the perfect realtor, Justin Becker, in mind to list our property and with Ben's recommendation, I knew we would be in good hands. I should mention that we live in BC and had a vacation planned for the week after the ideal time to list the property so I was a bit worried how that might affect the listing, but Justin was able to arrange with our tenant to see the house and then we did fly out to meet him there the weekend prior to listing. Their strategy for the dates to list made a lot of sense and I'm glad we followed it. In the week leading up to the list date, Justin sorted out the cleaning, photos (which were SO much better than we'd expected and drew a lot of interest!), set us up with a handyman to take care of a couple small things, and the property was listed Thursday with multiple offers over asking price right away, and we had an accepted offer for $65k over asking Saturday night with subjects to be removed on the following Friday (when we would be out of the country). Justin stayed in great communication through the week and updated us as soon as subject were removed (we were able to celebrate on holidays!) Following that (with us still away and then returning to BC) he arranged for some junk removal, set us up with an excellent lawyer to handle the sale by video call, and even did the walk through with our tenant for us when they moved out at the end of their lease 2 weeks before the buyers took possession. We did not even need to step foot in Calgary to have this go perfectly smoothly! What Ben and Justin both promised was that they would get the best price possible for us and they absolutely delivered and then some with the sale of our property. They will be the first people I contact when doing another real estate transaction in the Calgary area and I would recommend them to anyone.

Justin was the perfect choice for our first property purchase. Unfortunately we had been priced out of the acreage/farm market for the time being. After discussing options at length with Justin we decided on purchasing an investment condo in NW Calgary based on his vast knowledge and level of expertise in the overall market and especially investment purchases. Justin went above and beyond to make sure we secured a great investment at the right price, in the right neighborhood and even discussed the future equity values we could see by doing some inexpensive renovations. He put in the hours to have our offer accepted after much back and forth negotiation with the selling agent and secured a signed offer after midnight to firm up the deal. The whole process was extremely transparent and Justin was very easy to work with ensuring we knew how everything worked every step of the way.
