I’ve had the pleasure of working with experts in various professions. My experience with Anita McGowan was exceptional! I cannot say enough good things about my real estate agent, Lindsey Atkinson. Initially I was extremely reluctant to work with an agent but Lindsey was everything I would want my agent to be. She was patient, my strongest advocate, pursued answers on my behalf, was real with me, on top of every step of the process, dedicated, and I never felt like a number. Being first time home buyers, Woolcott (Sheryl Maciel specifically) made our experience a breeze. She was able to provide us with sound council that ultimately won us our beautiful first home together as a couple. My wife and I have had a really great experience with this agency, particularly our real estate agent, Reno Parnanzone. We were casually looking for homes as a couples’ date idea in the autumn. In the following February, we kinda decided we may actually be able to be first-time home buyers. We continued looking at open houses on our own. We weren’t even looking for a real estate agent at the time, but we met Reno afterwards randomly at an open house. Usually, other real estate agents were just handing us business cards and asking, “do you have an agent,” and that’s about it. Reno, on the other hand—I honestly don’t even remember what we started talking about, but it wasn’t even houses at first—just had a positive and friendly vibe to him. So, we started asking him about house stuff because we were curious and within 5 minutes, Reno gave us a lot of information as we kept asking questions, and he didn’t seem bothered (well, I know he’s in sales and he’s obviously looking for clients), and it didn’t seem forced or ingenuine. After we went back to our car, we were both paraphrasing how we liked this guy’s (Reno) vibe. About a week later, we contacted him. He was very professional. We met at the agency’s office after work, and he gave us a folder with a lot of resources. He had a PowerPoint set up and went through the slides in detail. There is a mortgage broker he often works with, and even though we had no obligation to sign with this mortgage broker, the mortgage broker gave us a breakdown on the financial side with a custom video in the middle of the PowerPoint. This mortgage broker is named Craig Austin from We Are Mortgages if you’re curious. Craig has been great with us thus far as well. Reno is informative, friendly, and we would definitely use him again, but hopefully not for a while, because, you know, we’re hoping to remain in this home for the long foreseeable future in Hamilton.

John S was an excellent agent, on time, professional, organized and never pushy. When we asked for advice or questions he was happy to help and offer great solutions to the many issues that can come up when purchasing a home I highly recommend John and the Woolcott team.

Our realtor was Adriana Oltean. Five stars are not enough. She was incredibly patient with us when I otherwise would have lost my mind (dealing with us). Just a great understanding for our situation and I am sure at many points she probably thought we weren’t serious buyers but she didn’t drift from us. Even now, my wife and I still message her with questions and she is always a few minutes from responding. That’s good for us, but not for her. She’s always available.
