Chapter 2: Stephen meets one of addy’s General Partners, Keith Roy.
As we learned in episode one, addy’s software enables many individuals to come together to invest in a specific property. They work with a General Partner who purchases a property, who would typically go out and raise capital from wealthy investors. Instead, the General Partner works with addy’s investors, who come together to make a whole piece of a property investment. That’s where addy comes in, addy enables the Issuer to raise money from addy members alongside these wealthy individuals
Sounds great, but we’re left with more than a few questions. Questions like, how does addy choose the right property and partner to present to investors? Do individuals invest directly in properties, or are they investing in addy itself? What came first, the fruit orange or the colour orange? That last one might be more of a personal thing.
