Tucked above its namesake Fraser River, East Vancouver’s Fraserview neighbourhood is a hidden gem in the big city. The area is located between Knight and Kerr streets, bounded by the river to the south and East 54th Avenue to the north. Fraserview offers residents a choice of peaceful river-facing homes or, for those nestled into the escarpment, soaring views of the north arm of the Fraser River, Richmond and, on a clear day, the Gulf Islands and Mount Baker. The area’s low-key vibe makes for a quiet, residential community that enjoys its convenient location between Richmond, New West and Burnaby.
