False Creek is one of Vancouver’s most iconic and historical neighbourhoods. Transformed post-Expo 86 from humble beginnings as a railyard, this community has blossomed into one of the most desirable places to live in Vancouver. Edged by its namesake body of water, Cambie to the east, Burrard to the west and 6th Avenue to the north, False Creek has a lot to be proud of, not the least of which are its stunning parks and views, and the ever-popular Granville Island.
A land of condos and townhouses, we found quite the array of price points in our review of the current market listings. While the lowest-priced condo is a relatively affordable one-bedroom for $415,000, its highest priced counterpart is a gorgeous two-bed on Athletes Way for 10 times that amount, listed at $4.2 million, the most expensive home in this week's list. The lowest- and highest- priced townhomes are closer in price (though still a cool $1.35 million apart) at $649,000 and $1.99 million, respectively. And we found one lone detached house currently listed, at $1.7 million.
