Born and raised in Victoria, Alex has a great knowledge of all of the different neighbourhoods within the Greater Victoria Area. His videos can be very helpful to those of us who do not have a detailed knowledge of Southern Vancouver Island. Alex works hard to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market conditions. He is able to provide great context and comparables for those properties that a buyer is considering. He works hard to understand his client's needs so that he can make value-added recommendations. He maintains a measured and reasonable approach to the purchasing process, ensuring that clients don't get "caught up in the moment" and over-pay for a property. Alex has a keen understanding of the mechanical, electrical and structural components of a home. He can spot problem areas so that a buyer is aware of issues that may require an additional investment. This skill-set is particularly helpful when looking at the many beautiful older character homes that are available throughout Victoria. Alex is a great negotiator and has detailed knowledge of contract language designed to look after the best interest of his clients. He stays with his clients throughout the entire purchasing process. Once we signed the deal to buy our home, he helped us to arrange for a home inspection, an inspection of the perimeter drainage system and talking with our contractor regarding our desired renovations. Alex's after sale service is second to none! Finally, Alex is a pleasant and professional guy who ensures that the process remains positive for the buyer.
