My wife and I recently sold our home in Ladner through Jared Gibbons Realty. Jared had been highly recommended as someone who was extremely good at his business and would provide us with the best service and advice available. We knew we were going into a difficult market for sellers and so were a little apprehensive at retaining someone we had never heard of before but those concerns were soon alleviated. Jared was the consummate professional as he advised us on what to expect and how to get the best price the tight market would support and skillfully guided us through the maze of paperwork.The services he provided to market our home went way beyond what we had expected. He immediately arranged for a professional home sales cleaning crew to totally clean and polish the inside of our 45 year old home so that it shone. Then he brought in a yard crew who did the same for the yard and the exterior of the house. He then arranged a full photographic presentation of the place, inside and out and even from above with a drone, incorporating that into a beautiful brochure that listed the selling features of our home. And all of this was provided at Jared's considerable expense, not ours. We really appreciated the assistance he provided in reaching a listing price that met our needs and expectations while at the same time recognizing that we were in a dropping market. Once all this preparatory work was complete showings, both open and private, began immediately and continued several times a week under the professional guidance of Jared's colleagues Tyler and Pam. His assistant Hernando kept us regularly updated on what was going on in the local real estate market and it never took more than a couple hours at the most for Jared or one of the others to return our phone calls.They kept us informed on the reactions they were getting to the property as soon as each visit ended. Their calm confidence in the features and value of our home and the eventual outcome provided much needed reassurance in the sluggish market and when we did get an offer Jared's negotiation of the outcome was masterful, getting us a selling price that we were extremely pleased with. Once the deal was complete Jared and team made all the necessary arrangements to retain the legal/notarial work necessary to close the deal. Selling the home you built on a vacant lot 45 years ago and raised your family in is a difficult time. Jared and his team really were a pleasure to work with throughout a very stressful time and we can't recommend him highly enough.
