When my husband and I were thinking of renovating our house to get ready to put it on the market, we had Scott Moe come to the house to give us some advice. He was extremely helpful and gave us suggestions on where to spend the money for resale value. We completed the renos and then had Scott back in. He was willing to come and discuss the market, advantages and disadvantages to putting the house up at certain times of the year. We found him knowledgable in all aspects of the market and particularly the market in our area of Cloverdale. When we eventually placed our house on the market, Scott and his team were professional in every aspect of the sale. The photographer took excellent photos that were also made into a gorgeous flyer with all the details of the home for potential buyers to take home. We were pleased with the way our house was advertised on realtor.ca from the photos shown to the well articulated writeup describing our home and the neighbourhood. We received regular messages when the house was going to be shown from Scott's office. Scott also called us after a particular busy day of showings to discuss impending offers. We decided to sell our townhouse and upgrade to a single family home. We have a few realtors in our family, but my sister and her husband worked with Toni to buy their Cloverdale home and highly recommended her. We knew we wanted to move to the Walnut Grove area, but our townhouse was out of Scott and Toni's usual Cloverdale/Langley zone, so we weren't sure if they would be willing to sell on our behalf -- it was no problem! Our townhouse was listed within days of meeting with Toni and we received several professionally done flyers with large colour pictures and details about our place to hand out to family and friends and to display during showings -- the pictures were so nice, they almost made us want to stay! We weren't expecting to sell quickly, as the townhouse market is typically slow, especially during the winter. Ona was an absolute gem when it came to communicating with us. She was professional and responded at lightening speed via text, phone, and email. She set up three showings and we received an offer within 28 days of listing! The offers was higher than our bottom line and were extremely happy. Once we had sold and were ready to buy, Toni spent many weekends showing us houses. She was very patient with us as we had to bring our two young children along with us to many of the showings. We found a listing "for sale by owner" on Craigslist and Toni was very professional in contacting the owners and setting up a showing. We saw the house at 7pm, Toni had our offer in by 8:30pm and it was accepted within an hour. Toni went above and beyond to help us communicate with the owners -- even showing up for the home inspection four days before Christmas and meeting with us to do closing paperwork two days before Christmas. She was available to us at every hour of the day and night. We moved in to our new home last week and both Scott and Toni came by to congratulate us and wish us well. We truly felt part of a family in working with Scott, Toni, and Ona. We hope we don't have to use them again any time soon, since they did such a good job at finding us our dream home and we hope to stay here for many years! They will be the only realtors that we recommend to family and friends looking to move to the Fraser Valley.
