It's not like you get a lot of opportunity to work with a realtor, so I have not worked with many. But working with Mary and her crew was one of the most securing feelings I have ever had. Buying and selling houses is one of the most stressful things we do has humans. And having Mary by my side gave me so much confidence in what I was doing. Yes there were mishaps and altercations with buyers and sellers but Mary handled all of it with grace and confidence. 5 years ago Mary helped me buy a duplex in East Van. There was a bidding war, there was 4 of us that were asked to bid 3 times. The only reason why i got the place is because Mary charmed the sh*t out of everyone. When it came time to sell Mary was very much a team player with me on the selling price, she also offered a lot of insight into what renovations needed to be done etc. In buying a new home both Amy and Mary were available to take me out to view places. Amy went above and beyond to help with our parents’ real estate needs and we could not recommend her more highly. When our parents were relocating to Vancouver, Amy went out of her way to help them find a condo, searching for possible options and taking them to look at places. We, my wife Ranjan and myself (Arvind Shah), approached real agent Amy Trebelco of The Mary Cleaver Group, RE/MAX Select Realty, sometime in the middle of October 2016. We were looking for two bedrooms plus two bathrooms condo. Amy took us all around town looking for the place. She took an enormous interest in our purchase as if she is buying for herself. Finally, we found a condo in Kensington Gardens, 2201 E. 30th Avenue. We returned to our residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We returned to Vancouver on April 30, 2018 waiting for our condo to get completed. My wife passed away on June 20, 2018. We, my children and myself, decided that I move to a senior’s home (Tapestry) and sell off our condo. Amy took over the task of selling. She advertised some time in February 2019, did the task of staging and de staging of condo all on her initiative. She sold the condo in few weeks. We consider ourselves to be fortunate to find such a caring real estate agent who help us like a family member. We have become friends.

Mary was very warm and personable; she had great knowledge of the market and our area coming well prepared with her research to ADVISE us of the best time to list our home on the market, how best to prepare our home for showings, and ultimately the list price. I say "advise" because she really allows you to make the decisions as the client and to feel comfortable with the choices you've made.
