Richard L. Cheung*

Richard has called Vancouver home since the 1980s. Having lived and worked abroad for many years, he brings a global outlook and a genuine understanding of how different people approach homeownership and real estate. Those experiences, combined with his long-standing interest in property, naturally led him to build his real estate career in the city he proudly calls home.

Throughout his career, Richard has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds on buying, selling, and investing in real estate. In addition to his role as a Realtor, he is also a long-time real estate investor, which gives him practical insight into market cycles, risk management, and long-term value. This perspective allows him to offer advice that is both thoughtful and grounded in real world experience.

Before entering real estate, Richard built a successful career in the mobile and application industry. He founded a mobile tech company that grew into a global mobile technology leader and was later acquired by a major industry player. He worked closely with global brands such as Facebook, Samsung, and Yahoo, and was widely recognized within Asia’s wireless and application sector. His work earned industry recognition, including Google Play’s Best App of the year, and the Gold Prize Winner at the Mobile Application Summit Award. Earlier in his career, Richard also held key production roles with major media companies in Vancouver and Hong Kong SAR.
