Paula Owen

Paula’s journey in Property Management traces back to 2003 when she joined Resort Quest in Whistler, BC. Over three years, she excelled in various roles, cultivating invaluable skills in property management. It was during this time that Paula also acquired her Property Management License from the Real Estate Council of BC.

In 2006, Paula’s adventurous spirit led her to the West Kootenay during a mountain biking expedition. Enchanted by the region, she and her partner decided to put down roots, purchasing a small acreage.

Driven by her passion for people and the dynamic nature of property management, Paula pursued further education, completing her Managing Broker course through the University of British Columbia’s School of Business. In 2009, she established West Kootenay Rentals and Property Management as a Sole Proprietor. As years passed, Paula’s life blossomed with the addition of two children, a farm, and the evolution of her business into an incorporated, reputable entity—WK Real Estate Co.

Now licensed for several years as a Real Estate Representative, Paula proudly offers Real Estate Trading Services through WK Real Estate Co. Her expertise spans investment property acquisition, home purchases (rural properties are a specialty), and leveraging her marketing prowess and negotiation skills to facilitate property sales.
