I was an out of province buyer in the market for a condo in Edmonton with the idea of eventually relocating there. The agent I was dealing with was unresponsive and I came across Adam through a listing that I was interested in. From our initial email exchanges, I immediately had a good sense of Adam's skill as a real estate professional. He was quick to respond and his responses were direct yet very professional with regards to the details of his listing. I liked that he seemed to exude quiet confidence. With still no response from the other agent, I went with my instinct and approached Adam to represent me in Edmonton to officially start my search. And it was both a productive and enjoyable experience. My partner and I just recent purchased our dream loft in downtown Edmonton with Adam's help! There were many times when Adam's advise really helped. On the first property I was interested, Adam was very helpful in guiding me on how much to offer. Being a Torontonian, it was really an advantage to have someone know the range of prices so we ended up not over offering when we had to increase the offer on that property. He was calm in his approach and took our interests by making sure we did not overstretch. Since I was not familiar with how things worked in Alberta, it was really good to have him know his business. We eventually did not purchase that property but though the process of having the condo docs reviewed, I noticed he was on top of following up with the sellers and the representatives and updating me either through text or an email (since I was back in Toronto). I was busy at work but knew Adam was on top of things. When we returned to Edmonton with a list of properties, Adam was, as usually, very organized for our tour and things were very efficient. He moved us along with no pressure and provided very helpful comments to the properties that, again, helped guide us. His calm and relaxed manner allowed us to think and assess properly during the visits (since we wouldn't have time to do a 2nd visit). On a whim and just before meeting him, we asked him to add a this loft we saw online and, surprisingly, he was able to secure a visit. We went, saw and were impressed. We asked Adam to prepare an offer and his very quick response to submitting the paperwork to the seller alongside his advise on pricing helped us secure this highly sought after property for a good price! I am sure that there are a lot of activities that happen behind the scenes during a process like this and Adam always seemed to know the dates, deadlines and urgency without looking or sounding stressed. Thanks to Adam, we are looking to eventually moving to Edmonton and living in a BEAUTIFUL centrally located property.
