She worked quickly with us to set up viewings and open houses, and although it took longer to sell our home than they had first communicated, we ended up walking away with a price we were happy with. She also very much stuck to COVID protocols, ensuring that we were rest assured that our concerns about safety were addressed and followed. We appreciated the fact that although we had an issue during initial photography, and the additional cleaning service, that Gemma made sure to "right the errors" so that we would be happy in the end by having both services redone. Not only selling our old place, but she helped us get our dream townhouse, when the market was heating up saving us from having to deal with competing offers and helping us come under the sellers asking price. She communicated with us well, and was organized and knowledgeable throughout our buying process too. She also went above and beyond a couple of times to help us out during our sale, by taking care of our cats (even doing the cat litter!) while we were away. We sold our house during Covid-19 and purchased a new place. The circumstances were challenging due to market conditions and the ability for us to have viewings when we were trying to sell our home. Chris and I were in touch daily. His communication never slipped even after the sales and purchases were made. He was honest and had our best interest at heart every step of the way. The deal was very complicated and him and Brielle managed to get it done for us even when the circumstances were tough. I would like to thank everyone at Synergy for making this work. If you're in need of a realtor, you should give Chris Ackerman a call. We used him for both the sale of our townhouse and for help in buying a new house. When we were looking for a new home to buy, Chris' advice was superb. He gave us space to take the time to look at each home but also gave great insight and pointed out things about the home that we might not have noticed. As for the sale of our townhouse, despite it being a clear buyer's market, we were able to sell our place within a few days of it being listed. Better yet, we sold at a price that was higher than we'd originally hoped to get. Much of that had to do with Chris' advice throughout the negotiations and his ability to negotiate aggressively with the buyers. To top it off, he's just a great person. We'd use him again without hesitation. Thank you Chris and the whole Ackerman team!
