Mehdi Miar moved to Canada in 2016 after running his own team of agents in the Middle East. Since arriving, he’s built a highly successful business, winning multiple realty awards and handling hundreds of home purchases and sales.

Mehdi explains his professional philosophy is to keep people coming back for more. “A large percentage of my clients come from repeat business and referrals as I deliver with the highest quality of service to all clients equally while upholding the quality of loyalty,” he says.

Ask Mehdi why people should consider a move to the North Shore and he’ll tell you it’s all about nature. Well, nature and the great homes on offer. Mehdi’s helped clients buy and sell across the North Shore and knows the best way to balance things like stunning views with square footage. But his favourite spot in North Van? “That’s a very difficult question,” he says in RealTours. “But Edgemont Village. Definitely Edgemont.”

Mehdi showed Stephen everything he loved about North Vancouver, including the food.

When he’s not finding clients the perfect house, he’s spending time outdoors with his son, his self-described partner in crime. “Whenever I have time, I’m either skiing, biking or I’m on my paddle board,” he says.

All that activity is probably a good thing considering Mehdi’s other passion: great food. And as a chef, he knows great food. From traditional Iranian dishes to Italian classics, he can either whip you up a great meal or share some pretty epic restaurant recommendations.

Summing up North Vancouver, Mehdi says it has “nature, parks and also you have two ski resorts in North Vancouver; we have Mount Seymour and Grouse Mountain. If you have a kid you have the best school catchment area, which makes sense for so many people.”
