Seymour is a neighbourhood of great contrasts. The community is home to an industrial waterfront and residential areas bordered by the banks of the Seymour River. Homes on the banks of the river are expensive, while southern Seymour is peppered with commercial and industrial buildings. In the past few years, some multi-family housing has been developed in the southern part of the community.
Seymour also offers some great family activities. A great example is Maplewood Farm, a fully functioning farm on Seymour River Place where children can visit and pet some of the resident animals, including goats, donkeys, horses and cows. For a pleasant summer walk, residents can also visit the Maplewood Flats Bird Sancturary or take a hike on the Seymour Valley Trailway.
Seymour real estate is slightly higher in price than surrounding areas in the North Vancouver, with fewer townhouses and apartments available in the area for purchase. Prices for homes in Seymour range from $579,000 to $1,499,000 with a median list sold price of $814,000. View Seymour MLS® listings and upcoming open houses
