North Delta's rough edges are kept sharp by affordable housing that attracts new immigrants who make the community a multicultural mix. Businesses reflect the many cultures calling North Delta home, with grocers and restaurants serving up a world of flavours. Parks and conservation areas, such as Watershed Park, highlight the community, recalling its riverfront heritage. North Delta Community Park is home to the North Delta Recreation Centre and pool. North Delta Transportation

North Delta is served by Translink buses, with connections to SkyTrain at Scott Road station in neighbouring Surrey. The community is fringed by Highway 91, which runs north across the Alex Fraser Bridge into New Westminster and south to Surrey and the U.S. border. Highway 91 also connects with Highway 10, a key east-west route.
