This hot East Vancouver neighbourhood has a lot to offer in terms of both amenities and range of housing. Here’s what you can buy right now

Fraser has blossomed into a popular East Van neighbourhood, thanks to its diverse combination of storied establishments and ultra-new retail and dining. Its mix of ethnic eateries and stylish cafes, plus a location butting against hipster haven Mount Pleasant, has created a decidedly cool and eclectic vibe.

Looking at the current market listings, single-family homes – which dominate the neighbourhood – run in price from $1.18 million to $3.5 million. We also found a dozen condos listed from an affordable $228,000 for a studio-plus-den, to just shy of $700,000 for a two-bedroom unit. Townhomes – of which there are just four currently listed – all fall been roughly $1.1 million and $1.2 million.
