Each year, we marvel at the projects that are finalists in the Georgie Awards, and this year is no exception. The homes that were finalists and winners are a testament to the innovation and creativity that go into each project.

This year’s competition saw a record number of entries for 52 awards in six focussed areas, which included new home design and construction, renovations, new communities, advertising, marketing and sales. The finalists and winners were selected by a judging panel of out-of-province industry professionals.
Some of the winners in the Multi Family projects categories share their thoughts:
Best Multi-Family Townhouse Development (infill) up to 10 units including mixed use: Ross Residences.
For first time winner, Nofziger Construction’s Dylon Nofziger, the night was one to remember. “It is such a tribute to be recognized by our peers, as we worked really hard on this project. The vision was to create a community within a community, building on the character that already existed here. How the community welcomed us was one level of affirmation, the Georgie Award win was another level of affirmation.”
Best Multi-Family Low-Rise Development - up to six storeys: Kindred Construction: GEC King Edward
