The first free-to-attend, two-day renovation show is being held by the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association (GVHBA) and the Better Business Bureau of Mainland B.C. (BBB) October 4-5 at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver.
The Fall Home Renovation Show will focus purely on renovation services and products, and aims to provide Lower Mainland home owners with the largest one-stop source of Vancouver's top professional builders and renovators.
The event will offer home owners professional renovation information and education, including expert advice from exhibitors at the Expo, which claims to be Metro Vancouver's largest renovators-only expo, with more than 40 renovators under one roof.
Free 20-minute seminars scheduled throughout the show will feature topics such as:
- Contracts: Getting it in Writing;
- Kitchen Design Trends;
- Renovating vs. New Build;
- Designing for Small Spaces;
- Heritage Renovations;
- And much more.
Homeowners will also be able to sign up on the day for GVHBA's complimentary "Ask-a-Pro" 30-minute one-on-one consultations.
The BBB will also be on site with its Consumer Spotlight booth, offering advice to home owners.
The Fall Home Renovation Show takes place on Saturday, October 4 from 10am–5pm and Sunday, October 5 from 11am–4pm at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver Theatre, 2080 United Boulevard, Coquitlam.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
