Over the last decade, Theresa McCaffrey has risen to the top of an already mighty pool of agents in the Whistler area. Working with RE/MAX Sea to Sky, Theresa leans into her personal knowledge of property investment and municipal legislation when supporting her growing list of clients.

We caught up with Theresa to find out how she’s growing her business and using small victories to stay at the top of her game.

1. First things first, how did you get into real estate?

My journey into real estate really began when I moved to Whistler in 2010. Living here, I've grown deeply connected to our community and its unique offerings. Over the years, alongside my husband, we've renovated several investment properties of our own, and established a thriving construction company. I take a very hands on approach with real estate - my daily engagement with the very structure of buildings and intricacies of strata complexes provided a natural bridge to my career as a realtor.

Now, I find immense joy in assisting both buyers and sellers to achieve their real estate aspirations, whether they are investing or purchasing their first home. I am committed to ensuring each transaction is as smooth as possible, taking pride in guiding my clients every step of the way.

2. What’s been your biggest accomplishment in your business so far?

Every day in real estate brings small, meaningful victories that deepen my love for this profession. The best part of my business are those moments when clients transition from strangers to lifelong friends. This personal connection is what defines the spirit of my work in Whistler. The Sea to Sky has something for everyone; it truly makes my job easy.

3. How has your business grown through partnering through REW?

Timing is everything in real estate. Connecting with buyers that are keen to begin viewing and purchasing properties right away gives both the buyer and myself the upper hand.

5. What are you most excited for in real estate in 2024?

I am excited about the opportunity to educate on the forthcoming changes and advancements in real estate.
