According to Vincent Lim, an area expert agent and part of RealTours Season 1, "there are a lot of big developers in Richmond, and that makes Richmond strong,” he says. Currently, active listings hover around 1,300 after seeing a recent plunge.

Median list prices have held steady near $1.15 million for the past few years. While this is a high listing price median, keep in mind that the detached single-family homes that make up much of outer Richmond’s housing stock may be pressing on the scale. You can likely find condos and townhomes for less than this price.
