Matt, help my nephew sell his home in Richmond and went above and beyond on this one, plus he found him a home here in Langley where he could share with family. As Don, does not drive and has many medical issues, Matt, was there to make sure he got back to the Notery etc.. after his home sold in 24 hours and he had to move out to Aunty after being discharged as he couldn't take ownership for another month.. In all i would recommend Matt to anyone who is looking for a home.

He was amazing from day one, giving us insight on the current market, sending us updates, telling us what we can do to make top dollar from our house and showing us multiple properties until we found the right one! He showed our house to over 20 groups in 2 days resulting in multiple offers above asking price within a week of our house being on the market! He showed us every house we were interested in, was patient when it took longer then we expected and ended up getting us our dream home in our dream neighbourhood! Wow, the sign was only up 2 weeks and here we are putting the sold sign on. This was the best experience I have every had selling a property (my husband and I have sold a couple over the years). Matt was so personable. He met with me a couple months before we decided to sell and patiently waited for my call to say let's do it. He sent us a home staging consultant to help us with ideas of how to prepare our home. He came with the photographer who created not only excellent pictures but a virtual tour and they even used a drone. Any challenges I came across he came up with ideas for solutions. He kept us aware of every step that was occurring. He was present for all the appointments of showing as well as for the purchasers property assessment appointment and even the purchasers appointment with the home inspection. He made sure that my husband and I were in the drivers seat the entire time. Everything was on our schedule and not his. When we went to view homes to purchase (even though it was over an hour away) he took us for a day of showings. He set up properties that fit our criteria. He was excellent at listening. Prior to him showing me around the new community I had had 3 realtors from that community sending me listings and I had to cancel each one of them because they weren't listening to our needs. Matt listened so closely that we were able to make a choice on the only 1 day of viewings. That has never happened for us before. We are so happy with our purchase. Matt has been very kind and gentle with my very senior parents that live downstairs from us and always polite and considerate. When it came to negotiating on the sale of our property Matt was an EXCELLENT negotiator. He got us more than we expected. He was tougher than my husband and I could have ever been. After being transferred from another location to the lower mainland I had to begin a search for a new home in a new location that I was unfamiliar with. I spoke to several real estate people and had a few show me some properties. I was generally unimpressed with the realtors I viewed properties with so I kept searching for a realtor I could trust. Most of the realtors only showed me select properties even though my searches showed many more properties that may have fit my criteria. When viewing the properties with these realtors it seemed like they were always trying to rush me past the poorer parts of an offering while overselling the non-important parts of the real estate deal. When I finally met Matt he called me to his office and listened very carefully to the real estate criteria I was looking for. Together we selected some "prime candidates" then Matt told me he would use our selected "Prime Candidates" and build a list and an itinerary of other possible candidates within the target area we selected. Within two days Matt had developed a full list of properties to view, prioritized the list for me and built it into a three day viewing schedule. During the viewings Matt continually questioned me, pointed out both the good and bad of each property, and kept meticulous notes that we used later to refine and choose a property to make an offer on. Once we chose a target property Matt and his Macdonald Realty team moved in to high gear building a strategy that would get me the best deal possible. I was being very demanding as the property I wanted was at the very edge of my affordability. Matt worked diligently the entire time, right up to the closure, and got me into my dream property for our original targeted price. Since the closure Matt has kept in touch and continues to ensure that my transition to the lower mainland is a success. If you want an honest, hard working, real estate team that won't give-up, or try to talk you into a deal you are not comfortable with when the going gets rough, you need Matt and his team on your side.
