We are just so incredibly grateful to Ollie for all of his guidance during the process of buying our first home. With everything being so new and overwhelming, it was a huge relief having him in our corner to help us navigate the process of buying our dream first home (below the asking price no less). I would have had no idea to ask for a new hot water tank when the home inspector told us the age of the existing tank, and I certainly didn’t pay close enough attention to know that the old tank held 50 gallons when the seller tried to replace it with a 40 gallon tank, but Ollie was there to make sure we were moving into a home with a brand new 50 gallon hot water tank in the end. That was the way the whole experience went for us with Ollie. When everything else felt like it was moving around us at the speed of light and our heads were spinning with it all, Ollie was the only one there to help us find a little calm in the storm. We may use a different Broker in the future, and we might finance our next mortgage with a different lender next time, but one thing we definitely won’t do is use another Realtor… Like ever! My wife and I are first time homebuyers in Canada. The whole process was new to us and somewhat felt intimidating. First advice we got was to find a good realtor. Someone that helps us navigate through the process and that had our best interest at heart. We contacted different realtors in the process. This is when we met Ollie. He was different. He took the time to understand our needs, wants, budget, etc. From there, he patiently took us through different properties and provided a well-balanced feedback on what’s good about it, what’s not good, potential pitfalls, and what to prepare for. His aim was to not just find us a property to buy buy to also ensure that the property would be a good investment in years to come. He kept us in check especially when an emotional decision is about to be made. He remained objective. This was evident when we finally saw the property we wanted. He took the time to work through the deal on our behalf, gave us his suggestions, etc. The situation we encountered was not the typical straightforward purchasing process but Ollie helped us in getting through it in a very timely fashion. We he says, he does. My wife and I never had to guess what’s going as Ollie managed to our expectations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience having Ollie as our realtor. We can see why he gets good reviews, repeat business from customers, and a good reputation for taking care of his customers. Ollie sold my mom's place for above asking in Citadel Heights, and I would absolutely go with him again for a number of reasons: 1. He gave us a lot of personal attention, was easy to get a hold of, and, I can't overstate how helpful this is: he helped to keep us on top of many important things of our sale (and purchase) that we may have forgotten about otherwise 2. He was also straight shooting - he set what I thought were realistic expectations on price, timing, and the sales process. He didn't tell us just what we wanted to hear to get our business. Contrasting his approach with another realtor, we felt that we would get more attention from him, that he cared more about getting us a better price by suggesting many improvements we could make to help the sale, and that he would work harder for us. We agreed with his approach and followed most of his advice to try to make the sale a success. Some things were a lot of work and we weren't sure would help, like painting, staging, and updating fixtures, but all said and done, it was clear that all the work greatly updated the look and feel of the house - it looked like a feature from a magazine. At that point, I was confident that we had put our best foot forward 3. When it came time to list, his sales experience was on display, as he strategized around a recent listing in our area to maximize the viewings, scheduled open houses on the weekend, and got in as many viewings as he could to drum up as much interest as possible. I feel he pulled out all the stops to make our listing as successful as possible, and he really knocked it out of the park for us! He also helped us purchase a condo for my mom, and again, he held our hand, made sure everything went smoothly, and was always focused on getting us what we want at a great price. Throughout our interactions, not only did he know what he was doing, we found he has a strong sense of integrity and responsibility. He really wanted us to be satisfied with everything and in that he certainly exceeded our expectations.

As much as I knew I wanted to buy a home, and had an idea of what I was looking for, Ollie was quick to take me in the right direction. He showed me what to look for and how to capitalize when a place feels right, and has continued to help me navigate my first home purchase.
