When I decided to sell a home in Nanaimo I consulted a few different realtors, all of whom seemed to be very capable. What set Dawn and Brooke apart from the others is that they personally helped me to get the house ready for sale by calling in and coordinating people to take care of landscaping, cleaning, and repairs. They even took on some tasks themselves. This was greatly important to me as I live on the mainland, and finding and hiring people to do work in Nanaimo would have been very challenging. Dawn and Brooke, however, made things go smoothly. Dawn was very good at explaining the process of selling the house, and helping to set a fair asking price. The promotional materials and video that Dawn and Brooke put together were excellent. Dawn did a great job of promoting and selling the house. 10/5 stars!! I have used different realtors to buy/sell and Dawn and Brooke were above and beyond what I had hoped for. When they first came to my home, they presented me with a marketing package, clearly outlining how they would advertise my listing (i.e. multiple internet sites, professional brochures, open houses). They offered suggestions for staging and even the use of their staging equipment and trailer. It was just an average townhouse but I felt like they treated me the same as a potential huge sale. Brooke did a thorough inspection, checking the hot water tank, appliances, exterior, etc. They wanted to be well prepared for any possible questions buyers might have. When pricing my home, they shared all the reasons why they landed on that number (not just comparables) so I felt confident in the price. They negotiated well and it sold quickly. Having a primary and secondary agent meant that someone was always quick to respond. If you aren't sure who to choose as a realtor, I would suggest meeting with them...you will be blown away!
