I have to say that she was the best and it was the best experience working with this property mgmt team. Right from the start, she was personable, answered questions and got back to us in a timely fashion. She took the time to show us around not only in the apt but also all of the other amenities the building had to offer. My experience with this company was disappointing. Communication was inconsistent, and I found the overall process to be disorganized. It often felt like there wasn't clear coordination between staff, which made things more frustrating than they needed to be. I hope they improve their customer service and internal communication going forward.

I leased a condo through this property management firm from June 2025 to June 2026. Everything went smoothly until it came time to move out. The move-out process was disorganized from start to finish. For scheduled showings, I was contacted by multiple property managers (Iman and Maryman) about the same appointments, and I was even asked questions about access after I had already returned the keys. One showing also ran approximately 45 minutes late. When I expressed my frustration, I was simply told it was “out of their control.” I suggested scheduling larger time windows to allow for delays and received no response. They then held my deposit for the full 14-day period permitted. On the evening of the 13th day, they attempted to return only my $2,500 damage deposit while omitting the separate $2,500 pet deposit. Since there was only one short lease agreement covering both deposits, this created unnecessary confusion. It also didn’t help that I had four different property managers involved throughout the process, which seemed to contribute to the lack of communication and consistency. The most surprising part came when Iman contacted my ex-girlfriend to ask whether half of the deposit should be returned to her, despite the lease documentation making the situation straightforward. After being told the full amount should be returned to me, he sent the e-transfer using the security question, “Your roommate’s name.” Given the circumstances, I found that to be unnecessary and unprofessional. Overall, my tenancy was fine, but the move-out experience was frustrating due to poor communication, disorganization, and what I felt was an unprofessional approach. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property management company.

Quite unprofessional behavior. We were given verbal approval on May 22 (at a price higher than the original listing price) and were then asked to meet the owner on May 27. During that meeting, the owner confirmed everything looked good, said he liked us as tenants, and indicated that he wanted to move forward with the deposit and lease paperwork. After May 27, communication stopped completely. We followed up repeatedly over the next week, simply asking for the email address to send the deposit via Interac e-Transfer, but received no response. After nearly two weeks of waiting and repeated follow-ups, we were finally informed that the owner's daughter had rented the unit to someone else. We understand that a lease is not finalized until it is signed. However, it is misleading and unprofessional to provide verbal approval, request meetings with the owner, discuss deposits and paperwork, and then leave prospective tenants waiting for weeks without communication. The entire process wasted a significant amount of our time and could have been avoided with timely and transparent communication. ------- Responding to provide additional context for readers: 1. The statement that we were "argumentative" during the meeting with the landlord does not reflect our experience. The meeting was cordial and constructive throughout. At the conclusion of the meeting, the landlord indicated that he liked us as prospective tenants, agreed to the change we had requested, and asked us to continue working with the rental agency to complete the application process. 2. The suggestion that we requested changes to "fundamental parts of the agreement" is also misleading. We requested a revision to the lease-break clause, which imposed a penalty equivalent to approximately 1.5 months' rent. Based on our review of other rental agreements in the market, we found this to be significantly higher than what is commonly charged. Our request was limited to that specific lease-break clause and did not affect the core/fundamental terms of the tenancy. We believe it is reasonable for prospective tenants to carefully review a lease, ask questions, and negotiate terms they believe are unfair. Doing so is not being argumentative; it is simply exercising appropriate diligence before signing a legally binding agreement.
