As a seller, I knew I would be entering an unfavourable market but I wasn’t prepared for the ruthlessness. Before working with Pete, I had hastily rushed listing my home and was understandably met with disappointment month after month. There are many choices when deciding to sell your home. Our choice was Pete Shpak. Why? Well, first off he's a great guy with a sincere smile and knack for making you feel important. But then there's his experience as a Realtor. Do not discount this. Experience and connections matter. You might think putting your home on MLS is the most important thing but I would argue that a top notch Realtor trumps this. In our case our home didn't even make it to MLS as Pete had buyers in mind, through Realtors that he's worked with before. That only comes through experience and connections. We had competing offers and sold our home quickly. Could we have sold it through someone else? Sure, but I can make a good bet that the process would not have been as streamlined and fast, and we may not have achieved the selling price. In our case I realistically think we sold for an extra 5% because of Pete's connections. Post sale I annoyed him a few times and he was responsive... That's as key as selling our home. Don't hesitate to use Pete and his team.
