Jay Devery

I've lived in Squamish, and loved this town for as long as I can remember. Growing up running around in these beautiful mountains and rainforest has given me a deep appreciation for this land and the communities it holds. My passion for real estate started at a young age. My parents bought, renovated and sold many homes as I was growing up, keeping us moving around the different neighbourhoods of Squamish. I loved touring all the homes for sale, and thought that one day I would become an architect and design homes of my own. Well, I didn't become an architect, I became a realtor, but I did design and build a couple of my own homes along the way!

Prior to my career in real estate, I was a firefighter. The years I spent working for the province of BC and City of Vancouver taught me tenacity, empathy, and how to work hard and solve problems throughout a variety of ever changing circumstances. These qualities have helped me excel as a realtor, giving me the confidence, calmness and understanding needed during high stress situations.

I take pride in helping my clients find the perfect property, or sell their beloved home so they can move on with their next chapter. I love the process. My attention to detail and perfectionist attitude allow me to dive deep into the task at hand.
