It’s such a pleasure working with Matt. He and I recently completed the redevelopment of a heritage home, creating three new strata units. Matt was the representative and manager for a group of investors who undertook the development. Matt also sold the homes, of course! Developing and building new properties is a long process with many potential pitfalls. Matt guided the project, from property acquisition, through permitting, through construction, to completion and sold the units. Through it all he kept the project moving forward efficiently and in the best interests of the investment group. The end result was very successful project! We met Matt early in 2018 when we unexpectedly needed to move from our rental home. We were in no hurry to buy but this turn of events meant we had to start looking right away. Matt was willing to help us, knowing we had a short timeframe to find somewhere suitable. He immediately understood our needs (with a 14 year old daughter and a dog) and helped us filter out possibilities quickly and succinctly. Matt distilled our choices so that we only saw properties that met our needs, and we finally settled on a beautiful 3 level townhouse. When we decided to look for a rancher a couple of years later, Matt was the only Realtor we ever thought to call. He came over one evening and gave us pointers about preparing to sell, briefed us on the current market, and gathered information about what we were looking for. This time it was not a quick turnaround due to covid. Matt continued to send us information on properties that matched our criteria and never rushed us. In addition, he kept us updated about market changes and mortgage rates. When he thought the market presented a good time to sell, he got in touch right away. Once we decided to sell, time was of the essence. Matt guided us at every step in the preparations for and during our sale. He provided contact info for movers and cleaners, helped with staging our home, and understood the stress selling a home can be for a family. Through these 4 plus years of working with Matt, when we were making really important decisions, Matt treated us like family. Matt was suggested to me by a realtor out in Chilliwack when my house sold rather quickly and I wanted to move closer to Vancouver. He was easy to work with and obviously had excellent information regarding the neighborhood's I was considering. He was very respectful considering the situation I was in and the reason I was there was somewhat sensitive.
