When I originally listed my property I wasn’t confident that it would sell at the listed price and would a long time to sell. In fact, neither turned out to be true. That’s because: — The realtor listed at a realistic price almost identical to one created by an independent appraiser several months earlier — the listing attracted motivated buyers, so much so that we had a committed offer within a week of the original listing and showing! — Communications during this process were frequent and complete so that I was aware of progress from day to day — I am convinced that all this was due to the realtor’s deep knowledge of the Keswick property market’s dynamics and composition — All in all, the sale process went very well because of the competence and skilled execution by Steven and his team Added October 13th, 2025 ... -- The reason I listed the property was that I was settling my son's estate ... and his house was a major component of his estate. I was looking for: -- a knowledgeable realtor who knew the Keswick real estate market -- an approach that would ensure that the property would sell in a reasonably short period of time -- a price that would facilitate the property's sale and one consistent with an appraisal I ordered earlier this year. In fact, it was almost dead on! (I'm assuming the realtor didn't consult my appraiser ...)'\ -- I chose Steven Sarasin real estate agency because they were positively recommended by a friend of my daughter.. the recommendation was borne out by their superb performance -- I valued all the things I mentioned in my original review--specifically (1) excellent communication (2) realistic pricing - neither too high nor too low (3) the realtor's in depth knowledge of the Keswick real estate market (4) the time from initial listing/showing to a confirmed offer ... which closed on the date agreed. I would advise anyone wanting to buy or sell in Keswick/Georgina to work with Steven Sarasin's Real Estate Agency. They were competent, professional and a pleasure to work with -- in my personal experience these qualities aren't universal in the real estate workplace...
