Chris help us search for our perfect forever home. He went above and beyond often working extreme hours to make sure we had everything we needed to make the whole process as smooth as possible. He would arrange multiple showing in an appointment to rapidly narrow down our wants and really hone in our search. My husband and I recently purchased a home in Langley, BC that was represented through Darren Leffers of Royal Lepage. Throughout the sales process our agent experienced challenges on multiple occasions trying to get a hold of Darren. Sometimes we never even received a response. Darren did not meet the terms outlined in the sales contract, including having the home professionally cleaned and making some repairs as promised. Upon possession, the home was dirty - full of cobweb...s, had a pile of dead worms and bugs in the closet, the washing machine was molded, the shower and bath fixtures were covered in soap scum, and the home was covered in dust. We’re disappointed that Royal Lepage does not hold their agents to a higher standard of service and professionalism. Darren was happy to wash his hands with the sale of this home. With over 25,000 licensed real estate professionals available in BC, I wouldn’t recommend Darren to represent anyone as their agent and appalled with the quality of work this brokerage holds their name to.

I was in Montreal when I emailed Royal Lepage for assistance in buying a house in Vancouver. Two days later, while I was driving towards Vancouver, I received a call from Chris that he will be willing to help not only to buy but to sell my own house in Dawson Creek. A meeting was set. We came to the restaurant and we met Chris who bought a meal for my family. Through the discussion we realized that our first need should be to rent a place, not to buy or sell our house. Even with that inconvenience, Chris put on himself to visit and search places available for rent, while we left Vancouver for Dawson Creek. He kept informing us about rentals even though he was only a house sale representative. He visited about ten houses for us, sharing us videos and description of the places. The dedication of Chris enabled us to sign a contract with a landlord before we even move in two weeks after. At the end, we did not buy nor sell our house. We only rent a place and Chris did not get a penny out of this. Now I should say this is unique for someone to go beyond his work and time to help a potential client using his money. That's what I call a service. Thank you Linden and see you next time the situation is good to buy a real house.

Buying your first home is exciting, scary, and hectic. I am happy to say its over but, I am more happy to say I had a great realtor who was such a big part of that.
