Mad men has been a huge influence in fashion and actually now in furniture as well. One of the big things we’re seeing is in beautifully scaled pieces that really reinterpret midcentury design for today. It’s actually perfect for small spaces, but have a real sense of personality and a real sense of character to them.

We’re inspired by warm finishes, wood, warm metals like copper, and just clean, simple designs. Which is really the hallmark, or one of the hallmarks of midcentury modern.

What we’ve been seeing is a lot of return to craft and attention to – a play with – old crafts like crocheting and knitting. Finding their ways into modern rugs, modern finishings and again things like natural materials, simple lines and a lot to do with woodworking and joinery. And being able to see some of the joining and master craftsmanship involved in making those pieces.
