Arc Vancouver, Concord Pacific's latest development proposal for the new False Creek Central district, made up of two residential towers joined by skybridges at three levels, has received rezoning approval by Vancouver council, according to VanCity Buzz.
The pair of 28- and 30-storey buildings will be built at 998 Expo Boulevard, at the northwest end of the Cambie Bridge. The James Cheng-designed towers will have multi-coloured facades and will rise from two- and five-storey podiums and will contain 620 residential units.
The three three-storey "skybridges" in the project will also contain apartment units.
A plaza will run underneath the Cambie Street Bridge and offer a pedestrian link to the developer's neighbouring under-construction One Pacific project.
