The Treats Concession, located in Queen's Park, is open on good-weather days only -- from about the third weekend in May through to Labour Day in September.

The Queen's Park neighbourhood is named for New Westminster's flagship community park. The 75-acre Queen's Park includes a lush forest and a beautiful rose garden, several playgrounds, gymnastics and trampoline programs, a spray park and a petting zoo.

For recreation, you can play a game of tennis, run on the trails, try the outdoor fitness circuit or walk your dog in Queen's Park's off-leash area. Plus, the park offers a concession, plenty of picnic tables and washrooms, making it an ideal destination.

Queen's Park is also home to the New Westminster Salmonbellies a lacrosse team that plays at Queen's Park Arena every summer.
